So will I get paid?!

We don’t imagine that this book will make millions. That’s kind of not the point. So the motivation for your involvement will need to be non-economically related. If you decide to be involved, your written contribution will be acknowledged in the book itself.

Hang on, you haven’t answered all of my questions yet!

Feel free to shoot any additional queries/concerns/riddles to us via email at notababymanual@gmail.com and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. Alternatively, we will be compiling a FAQ blog entry (updated as we go along) which may answer that burning question you had.

How do I submit my stuff?

You can email your submission as a word document to: notababymanual@gmail.com. Please double space your contribution and use Arial 12 point font for the preservation of our eyesight/sanity and include a brief (one or two sentence) outline of what your piece is about. Please also include the best way to contact you.

How long should my musing be?

Anything from one sentence to about fifteen hundred words would be great. We are flexible with this though, if a piece needs to be longer it needs to be longer.

Why would I get involved?

Because you are currently investing in the future in this new role of motherhood.
You like the idea of being part of something that affirms the journey of being a mum.
You’ve got a story to tell.
You want to engage with others regarding the journey you are on.
You like the sound of the project.
You think that someone else could connect with where you were at in those early days.
You want someone else to know that what they are experiencing is normal.
You would have read this book if there was one like it when you first had your bub.
